Wavertree Book Club
The Wavertree Book Club is part of the Love Wavertree group of community based groups. Their aim was to appeal to as many people as possible in and around the Picton High Street area of Liverpool. Local book clubs are essential in communities as an outreach for people from all walks of life. Sometimes a vital lifeline for isolated people and sometimes as a way to meet new people in a supportive and open setting. It was essential that the imagery used would appeal to as broad a spectrum of people as possible as well as appearing non offensive and playful.
